What is the Any Video to Text MCP server?

A remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://anyvideototext.com/mcp. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, and the assistant can fetch the transcript or a summary of a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or X video when you paste a link.

Is it free?

Yes. Free accounts get 5 new transcripts and 5 summaries a day, up to 30 minutes per video without captions. Videos someone already transcribed come back free. With credits there is no daily limit and videos can be up to 2 hours (1 credit per started 10 minutes).

Why do I have to sign in?

AI apps call the server from their own computers, so we can't tell people apart by IP like on the website. Signing in with Google keeps your free daily transcripts yours and lets the assistant use your credits.

Which apps work?

Any app that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP: Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT with connectors, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and others. Apps that can't do the sign-in can use a personal API key from your account page.

How do I disconnect an app?

Open your account page and press Disconnect next to the app under Connected apps, or revoke its API key. It loses access at once.
