What we collect

The video link you paste, the transcript we produce, and a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to count free transcripts per day. No account, no name, no email.

What we keep

Transcripts of public videos are kept for 30 days so repeat requests are instant. The IP hash and daily counts are kept for up to 30 days. We never download or store the video itself.

Services we use

Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection) and Apify (runs the transcription). Speech-to-text is done by an AI speech model. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, and anonymous session recordings of how people use the tool. It runs without cookies, so nothing is stored on your device and you are not tracked across visits or sites.
